Surf and cooking week in Landes region

Learn to surf and enjoy south west french cuisine : perfect balance between effort and reward ! Start your day with intense and energizing physical activity with a morning surf class before attending the daily cuisine atelier supervised by the Chef Christophe. You will learn culinary techniques and also sensorielles experiences (discover local products, alchemy of tastes, and presentation). He will help you to cook a good and deserved dinner that you will enjoy without a pinch of guilt ... Taste and share what you have prepared is a pure moment of joy. You can also choose to participate to  the vine workshop and learn who to appreciate and choose the right beverage to go along with your meal. Surf & Cook package 5 x 1h30 surf lessons from monday to Friday Surfing tuitions by qualified and experienced surf teacher Individual surfing insurance provided by the french surfing federation Boards and wetsuit at disposal for the week 5 dinners and 4 local cooking classes with the Chef of the local restaurant nearby. Prepare and enjoy your « recette » in a laid-back atmosphere, tasty vine and happy people. Duck magret, sandre fish, piperade…: bon appétit ! Food and Wine Pairing (optional): one evening each week, the Chef and a vine specialist (sommelier) teach you how to find the harmony between wine and food. 6 nights in 1 to 4 pers. shared room with private bathroom. Ask for a private bungalove if you are a couple. 6 organic continental breakfasts Self-catering for lunch at the Lodge, picnic at the beach... Evenings « à la carte » Free access to Lodge amenities and equipments : - 33° hydro-massage pool and steam room. - mountain bikes, canoes, open air games (badminton, trampoline or chill out in the hammocks, BBQ…) - pool table, surfing and DVD library in the communal room. Transfers from/to Biarritz airport or St Vincent de Tyrosse train station, transport to surf spots, Hossegor down town, factory outlets…. Extras : Oxbow beach bag offered and a set of pics to engrave your best surf moves. Please note Surf & Cook weeks require a minimum of 3 participants  If you require transfers, we will ask for 50 euros extra fee one way if the pick up or drop off is earlier than 9 am or later than 7 pm.
